Podcast Episode with Garry Turner

Why is it that, in business, vulnerability is viewed as a weakness but in every other context it is a leadership strength?

Garry Turner reached a pivotal decision at a midpoint in life that began much earlier. In his early teenage years, Garry was repeatedly bullied. The trauma from this experience was suppressed and carried for the next 25 years. Nine years ago he realized he felt empty. In sharp contrast to the outer measures of success, inside there was a yearning for freedom. The dissonance catalyzed a profound transformation — the transformational leader’s journey — directly relevant to working constructively with levels of uncertainty. In this episode, we talk about the why, how, and value of vulnerability, and emotional health in attaining inner freedom. And more.
